It is the catalogue published in conjunction with the exhibition Boundless Horizons by Mokhlesur Rahman at the Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts in 2003.

'Mokhlesur Rahman, sensitive to his surrounding, promptly sketches on paper a rough outline of the composition that comes to his mind. He then, with the help of a tracing or carbon paper or sometimes even directly, transfers the image onto a wooden plate: The work of carving and cutting off the wood with a gauge begins.
But it is only an initiation. One by one the colour schemes are printed till they reveal the design that he envisaged through the eyes of his mind. The first print induces him to compose a new one. This entire process entail a greater amount of uncertainty rather than uniformity. The whole journey begins from a realistic form of emotion and ends in an abstract expression, portraying a metaphorical world of universal beauty. And this is what characterized his work.'
