Kang Yong Suk continues his examination of the long-term effects of the Korean War in this series of black and white photographs taken from 2006 to 2009. They depict banal scenes with people doing everyday activities at sites around Korea where statues of war heroes or monuments commemorating military achievement or victory are erected.

With essay by Park Ju Seok (also spelled Park Joo Suk), artist's note and biography.
