'Love it or Leave it' is the theme of the fifth edition of Cetinje Biennial. The exhibition aims to give an unprejudiced view on the historical and current situation of art in the South-Eastern region of Europe with an expansion to the Middle East, by presenting 80 artistic positions from these two areas. With satellite projects in Dubrovnik/Croatia and Tirana/Albania, the biennale implies a unique cross-national activity. Nikola Petrovic Njegos, president of Cetinje Biennial wrote, '...the merit and the novelty of this exhibition was that it united the artists and the works that, beyond the moving fontiers and the conflicts, witnessed a cultural alternative to political impasses.'
