A biography of Ucchin Chang. His birth date in this book is given as 1917, though found elsewhere as 1918. The book is written chronologically, illustrated on almost every page with a photograph or colour plate of his work. A struggling artist for most of his life, he eschewed the complications of modern urban living and remained singularly devoted to his art until his death in 1990. This book was translated by Dai Sil Kim-Gibson, and independent filmmaker/writer.
