This is the catalogue of Chu Tehchun's exhibition at Tresors Singapore 1994. In the preface, the artist writes, 'I have a passion for painting. So I often let my imagination flies in order to pursue things nice and beautiful. Inspired by nature and, from time to time, my own reflection and understanding of the art, I have been painting tirelessly for 60 years. With the benefits of experience, I have gradually reached a stage where I paint effortlessly, losing myself in the creative process. My feelings stream flow naturally. I enjoy it more with each passing day'. The paintings presented here best illustrate Chu Tehchun's mastery of the art. A detailed biographical survey of his artistic life is included.
