The book is the published product of an eight-week textile design residency programme organised by the Office of Culture and Design (OCD). Two students, Lyza Baum and Emilie Jehng, from Rhode Island School of Design were hosted as residents between July and August 2015, focusing on the research of natural dyes and four-harness loom weaving in Manila and Bohol, researching the economic, creative, logistical, and environmental feasibility of the natural dye process in the town of Tubigon, Bohol Island. This publication is a diary of their research process and results.
