Ho Kan is an Italian-based Chinese artist, who was born in Nanjing in 1932. He studied painting with Lee Chung-sheng in Taipei in 1950s. Later he founded the Eastern Art Group (Dongfang Huahui) with Lee Yuan-Chia, Hsia Yan, Ouyang Wen-yuan, Chen Tao-ming, Hsiao Chin etc in 1957. He moved to Europe in 1964. This catalogue includes an article by Chin Sung and the artist’s biography.
