This photo book documents the observations, imagination and observations of the two architects, Geraldine BORIO and Caroline WUTHRICH, on the back lanes and alleys of Hong Kong since arriving in 2010. The book also records the inception of their artistic and research project STAG (2012), which is a "mutation of a stool and a bag inspired by the value of flexibility, convenience and pragmatism: emblems of Hong Kong's identity" (p.149). STAG was developed as a way to intervene in Hong Kong's physical space.
