This is the monograph of the photographer Lo Yuk Ying. The portrait works presented in this publication were created in the period 1977-1985. Lo is a privileged witness to a golden age in entertainments as Hong Kong’s movie industry took flight in the 1990s, and produced a body of work that sets down for posterity the personalities that marked the decade. A short artist’s biography is also included.
