Catalogue accompanying Hyun-mi Yoo's solo exhibition at Kumho Museum of Art, Seoul in July 1998. Driven by fantasies of flying, she fabricates ethereal sculptures from feathers, wood or wire, often suspending them from the ceiling like levitating "bodies". Her work is heavily influenced by Freudian psychology and shows a preoccupation with the female form. More recent sculptures depicting rooms and architectural elements are also included in this catalogue. With artist's biography.
