Context

Established in 2015 by a group of local Hong Kong artists, Rooftop Institute is a Hong Kong-based communal art space, dedicated to developing a series of imaginings and practices enacted towards the concepts of space, community, learning and exchange' according to their website. They organise artist residencies, inviting Asian and local artists to conduct research and discussions on contemporary social and cultural issues.
