Catalogue of Kyotaro Hakamata's exhibition at Hillside Gallery, Tokyo in 1996. In the artist's own words, '...What I have to be aware of is myself as an artist, and everyday goods and semi-transparent plastic as materials of the work. The everyday goods are joined and combined as abstract forms, but they retain their original appearance such as a desk and a kitchen utensil, although they have been damaged by being joined.'
