This monograph features recent photographic works by Kyungwoo Chun, a Korean artist based in Germany. The figures in his photographs are blurred as the result of long exposure times. Instead of capturing a brief moment, they represent the process of interaction between artist and subject as well as between subjects, in the case of group portraits. Works from the series Versus (2007), BreaThings (2008-2009), Believing is Seeing (2007), and Simultan (2010) are included in this volume. They explore the relationships between individuals and between humans and their belongings. With essay by critic/curator Hyeyoung Shin and artist biography.
