This monograph is published in conjunction with the exhibition under the same title held at Singapore Art Museum from March to May 2009. Drawings and works on paper by Latiff Mohidin created between 1962 and 2006 are showcased in the exhibition. The works are categorized into the following themes: 'Pago-Pago', 'Langkawi. Mindscape', 'Sketches for Sculpture', 'Guilin. Bukhara. Samarkhan. Isfahan', 'Gelombang. Rimba', 'Interior Landscape. Landscape', 'Voyage. The Well. Gita', 'Wetlands'. Brief artist biography and selected bibliography are included in the monograph.

When they are approached thematically, Latiff's drawings and paintings are undeniably connected; both are identified by the major topics that mark his art's historical development.
