This is the catalogue for Fung Ming Chip’s solo exhibition at Hanart Gallery (Chung Shan Branch) in 1992. This time, the artist’s interest and continued explorations of the written word are represented in three-dimensional forms: sculptures. In doing so, Fung appropriates the common signatory nature of words and restructures them into a private language. In the accompanying essay, Fung elaborates on the idea behind the creation of his sculptural pieces, and the development of his art. A biography of the artist is also included.
