The Lunami Selection Exhibition began in 1985 as an attempt to create a basis for contemporary art by providing a venue for young emerging artists to form a relationship with society through the use of a gallery space. Since 1992, the exhibition has evolved to a joint event with the theme Focusing on A New Generation in Japan which involved 10 other galleries.
6 artists had been chosen to showcase their artworks in Lunami Selection '95, and their biographies are included in the present publication.
