This monograph is published on the occasion of the exhibition 'Tokyo Contemporary Art Award 2019–2021', which featured works by Sachiko Kazama, one of the two winners of the first Tokyo Contemporary Art Award (TCAA).

Inspired by the German novelist Thomas Mann's The Magic Mountain, Kazama has created a series of woodcut prints titled Magic Moutain. This book includes images of the works, essays by the artist, Maria Lind and Tomoko Yabumae.
