'Born in Japan to a Vietnamese father and Japanese mother, Nguyen-Hatsushiba studied art in the United States before moving to Vietnam, where he currently lives. He is one of a growing number of artists who have experienced life in a number of different cultures and who integrate those experiences into their work. These artists reflect new age of multiculturalism' - Fumio Nanjo.
