This exhibition catalogue was published on the occasion of Miru Kim's photography exhibition, Naked City Spleen, at Gallery Hyundai from August 25 to September 13, 2009. Miru Kim includes her nude self-portrait in her photographs of desolate urban spaces--sewers, tunnels, abandoned buildings, and tops of bridges and buildings. These photographs of her extreme "urban exploration" endeavors were taken in New York, Paris, Philadelphia, Seoul and Berlin. Each image is briefly explicated by the artist.
