This catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition, Movement, Contingency and Community (October 19-November 12, 2007), curated by Hyunjin Kim at Gallery 27, Kaywon Art and Design School in Uiwang, Korea. It explores the possible relationships among a community of seven artists, in an attempt to transcend the traditional understanding of a community. The book documents this exhibition, and also includes installation views from the 7th Gwangju Biennale (September-November 2008), to which the exhibition was invited to take part. Artists' biographies are included at the end. Participating non-Asian artists include: Can Altay, Jimmy Robert, Nina Canell, and Runo Lagomarsino.
