'My Winter Collection' features works by Uji Handoko Eko Saputro produced during his residency at IASK Changdong National Art Studio, Seoul in 2008. Uji Handoko or more popularly known as 'Hahan' is an aspiring, up and coming artist from Indonesia. His works mostly dwell in the territories of urban and street art very popularly explored by the artists of his generation coming from Indonesia's urban upbringing - which mostly also reflects the spirit of the Gen-Y of Indonesian urban youngsters. His work in the residency program, subconsciously, is his effort to analyze his own sense of displacement in wintry Seoul in the form of drawing series on cardboard turned into a packaging set, a concept derived from his obervations of objects he deals with in his everyday routines in Seoul. Artist biography is provided in the present catalogue.
