This exhibition presents the work of young Taiwanese artists between the ages of 25 and 35. It attempts to delineate the face of a generation that has emerged from a tempestuous youth to become independent thinkers with a unique world view, yet face a great deal of uncertainty as artists. Works in this exhibition are drawn from the 'Collection of Young Artists' Work Program', which was initiated by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in 2005 to support artists in the early stages of their careers while capturing and preserving the essence of each new generation of artists. Artist biographies are included in this catalogue.
