This publication is produced in occasion with the group exhibition with the same title organised by Museum of Modern Art, New York from August to November 2013.
The exhibition is set to explore a group of young artists working from a variety of disciplines such as visual arts, architecture, and performance, and to seek how they use sound works to respond to their environments and situations. As a result their presentations take the forms of architectural interventions, visualisations of sound, and field recordings.
Two essays open the catalogue by contextualising the works in historical context, followed by plates of each artist accompanied by a short explanatory text.
Includes biographies of the artists.
