
A report on two programs that provide arts for patients in hospitals. ‘Art-In-Hospital’ program, which had been jointly organized by Hong Kong Art Centre and Hong Kong Christian artist groups since 1994. The program had organized various beautification projects such as mural painting for 21 hospitals in the city, but is facing financial difficulties due to lack of supports. Contrarily, ‘Music-In-Hospital’ project by Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra won supports from the Hong Kong Bank Foundation, Urban Council, and Hospital Authority.
