This catalogue is published to accompany the solo exhibition by Thai artist Thawan Duchanee organised by Fukuoka Art Museum and the Japan Foundation ASEAN Culture Center. It was the third of the series of Asian Artist Today - Fukuoka Annual III: Thailand - In Quest of the Ultimate Sacredness. Thawan Duchanee's works are filled with enormous, even destructive energy, which places them in a unique position in Thailand.
