The article discuss the controversy of the Hong Kong Art Biennial 2005. The nature of the Biennial is a competition, it is a good opportunity for the young artists in Hong Kong S.A.R. to exhibit their works. However, it does not promise the quality of the exhibits nor gives a strong identity as an biennial exhibition.
