This is the catalogue for the exhibition of the artist Nancy Chu Woo whose paintings of fruits and nude show a blend of her formal Western art education with her training in traditional Chinese brush. The foreword is written by Wang Gungwu (then Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong) and Wai-Kam Ho (then Laurence Sickman Curator of Chinese Art at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art). Ho studies the art of Nancy Chu Woo with reference to aesthetics in traditional Chinese painting. A chronology of her artistic activities is also included.
