This exhibition presents nine Hong Kong-based artists. Each artist has showed two pieces of work - one from before 1997 and a new piece created specially for this exhibition in early 1998. By comparing their earlier and later works, the course of their minds in the historical period of change in Hong Kong were charted.
The exhibition was then toured to the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Culture) in Berlin, Germany at the end of the year. Biographical information of artists are included.
