'The Rose Crossing is an exhibition of contemporary Australian art born of difference. The range of visual arts practices actively pursued in late twentieth century Australia bears witness to a set of political decisions and social phenomena that have transformed the nature and state of creativity within this vast but sparsely populated continent.' - taken from the introduction by Dr. Gene Sherman, Director of Sherman Galleries, Sydney. Also included is a foreword by William Wright, Organising Curator. Out of the thirteen artists who participated in this exhibition, six of them are of Asian descent, and they have been catalogued under the ‘Artists’ section.
This is the Chinese version of the catalogue of the exhibition. With translations of the introduction, foreword and essay. A list of exhibits is provided, but without illustrations of works.
