This publication is a compilation of photographic works by Japanese artist Eiki Mori, whose works are mostly images of Japanese young males posing in an everyday setting.
By manipulating natural light as available in any household setting or in a Tokyo urban landscape, his oeuvre evokes another masculinity, as different from the conventional prototype of manliness, of these boys who live in small apartments in Tokyo alone. These models seem to freeze in time under Mori's camera, making a contrast with the drastically fluid urban background of the city.
