USEby is a cultural exchange project bringing together artists from the Asia-Pacific region, and looking into the phenomenon of independent galleries and artist-run spaces operating there. The aim is two-fold: on the one hand, it gives recognition to regional collaboration and exchange between artists; on the other, it gives recognition to artists working independently in the face of global change, limited support and diminishing resources.

Activities organised in conjunction of this exhibition included a forum, film screening and satelite exhibition, the details of which are provided in the back of the catalogue.
