'In "Vessels and Mounds" Pinaree Sanpitak articulates her techniques in various styles, ranging from drawing, painting, gilded bronze, terra cotta, and candles... The artist uses her own body part as a resource, not as a site, like performance artists who work with their bodies... '. The accompanying essay studies how female body parts inspire Sanpitak in her works, most notedly in the breast series and the vessels and mounds series. A selected biography of the artist is included.
