This is the catalogue of the exhibition of the above title which was first opened in New York and later travelled to Kassel. The exhibition was about 'walking' in the city. In fact, not all of the participating artists were seen to be engaged in walking; some squat and some stand. According to one of the authors, the exhibits were first and foremost acts of spatial appropriation since 'walking' was a transformative way of using space and a way of spatial practice.

With a foreword by Rene Block and Steven Rand. Artist biographies are included.
