Yuanyang is a beverage invented in Hong Kong, mixed with half coffee and half black tea with milk. This typical Hong Kong style beverage, blending the cultural essence of the East and the West, is also an apt symbol of the identity of Hong Kong, unique yet diversified, traditional yet modernistic. The exhibition features over one hundred items of coffee and tea vessels as well as ceramic sculputres produced by forty-six noted Hong Kong artists for the theme Yuanyang. With preface by Christina Chu and artist biographies.
