The Pearl River Delta's December calendar was filled with art events, including four festivals and a biennale in December, presenting an array of art mediums. In Hong Kong, the Microwave International Media Arts Festival 2010 and the first edition of the Hong Kong Photo Festival presented new media art and photography, respectively. The two-day Macau International Performance Art Festival 2010 at the Ox Warehouse, Macau was followed by the first edition of the week-long performance festival, Guangzhou Live - International Action Art Festival 10, was held at the 53 Art Museum in Guangzhou. Finally, the 7th International Ink Painting Biennale of Shenzhen took place at multiple locations in Shenzhen.
