Asia Art Archive (AAA) hosted an event 'SCAN Taipei' from 5 -9 May, 2006, as part of 2006 Art Taipei at the Huashan Cultural Park. A booth was set up from which artists, critics and curators were invited to donate, photocopy or scan material. We believe this event not only provided a great opportunity for us to reach out to the local art community and enrich material from the region, but also for Taiwanese audience to know more about the dynamic movements of contemporary art from other parts of Asia, and create a new network.
