About the speaker
Emil Goh is a Sydney video artist and co-founder of Gallery 4A, the primary venue for Asian Australian visual art and one of the leading alternative spaces in Sydney. Goh is featured in 'Housewarming', an international group show on view at Para/Site from January 17 to February 19. He has shown widely, including 'The Couple (New Australia)' at 200 Gertrude Street in Melbourne (1997), 'Non Stop Opening', Central Point Gallery, London (1999), MAAP01 at the Brisbane Powerhouse of the Arts (2001) and 'Buddha: Past, Present, Future' at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (2001-2002). Goh was also a video curator for the recent 2002 Sydney Biennale.
