Excerpt from Relating: Wang Gongxin’s Video Art, Timezone 8 Limited, Shanghai, 2010, p 34:
‘Inserted in the surface of a bench, a small black-and-white monitor shows a fingertip constantly rubbing and digging the hollowed grooves on the bench section which supposed to be in the original place of the monitor. The work is a simple mental activity as well as man’s obsessive compulsive disorder caused by his fancy on images and lost time.’
