作品〈綠〉藝術家自述：
「在一個人工島上，我使用噴漆、顏料，在野生植物表面反復噴塗上色，將其變成看似塑料的『假植物』，隨著時間推移，『假植物』最終全部枯死。我想製造一場『塑料植物』死亡的假象。」
「在大學城美院的人工島上，種著不同種類、不同產地的植物，這是一種非自然的人工組合，然而在同一地方，又長出一些原生的、適合廣州自然氣候的野生小植物，兩者間存在一種自然與非自然之間的對抗。
我利用噴漆、顏料，在人工島上的野生植物表面反復噴塗上色，最終將其變成如塑料般的『假植物』，表面光潔如漆，質地如塑料般乾硬。隨著時間推移，『假植物』最終全部枯死。」
