Criticism+Engagement+Thought is a speculative response to the 2004 Biennale of Sydney. It is the fourth in a series of publications produced by Artspace aimed at creating ongoing dialogue with ideas central to all the Biennales since 1998. A range of critics, curators and theorists are invited to interrogate and engage with the curatorial paradigm informing the exhibition, as well as with the practices of the contributing artists, thinkers and performers.
