Join art students from universities across Hong Kong as they share their personal experiences.

In response to the needs of HKDSE Secondary 6 students who will soon decide on university programmes, Asia Art Archive will host a sharing session about arts-related disciplines at universities and other tertiary education institutions in Hong Kong. The casual meeting will be led by members of PageNEXT, AAA’s youth group comprised of students and recent graduates.

This opportunity for exchange will broaden students’ perspectives on tertiary academic art and design programmes in Hong Kong, provide advice about academic planning, and help to develop their understandings of contemporary art and the way it is perceived in society. Through such collaborative peer-led activities, AAA aims to provide opportunities for young audiences to develop, complicate, and challenge their interests in art.

My Art Future seeks to expand students’ understanding of tertiary art, architecture, cultural studies, and design programmes available in Hong Kong, as well as facilitating their academic planning. Through interactive peer-led activities, it provides opportunities for young audiences to develop, complicate, and challenge their interest in the arts, and to rethink the social role of contemporary art.

My Art Future: Salon for Young Adults is a series of salon-style discussions that aims to support tertiary education students, recent graduates, and young professionals with an interest in art as they consider pursuing a future in the field. Various young art administrators are invited to share their personal experiences in order for participants to gain a better understanding of the current art ecology.
