This catalogue is published in conjunction with the titled exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum. The name 8Q refers to the new wing of the Singapore Art Museum. The site was originally constructed as a school, thus the inaugural exhibition, '8Q-Rate:School' was organized and centred on the site's previous incarnation. Eight Singaporean artists worked with eight curators to present their thoughts on the relationship between education and curation. The result is this exhibition that invite audiences to ponder on these areas of confluence and divergence.
