'The Amanda Heng: Speak To Me, Walk With Me publication which is produced in conjunction with the exhibition, offers a comprehensive view of her diverse practice. With more than 50 full-coloured artwork plates and documentation images from her vast oeuvre, the publication also features seven essays and an artist interview which study her work from various domains of inquiry. Written by curators, scholars and art commentators who have collaborated closely with Heng in her previous projects or are experts in their respective fields of research that corresponds with themes in her practice, they offer both personal accounts and diverse entry points into Heng's art. These topics include the reception of performance art, national identity, participation in art-making, feminist art and collaborative practices in Heng's works.' — from the back cover
