As mentioned in greeting by the organizers, the Agency for Cultural Affairs has dispatched young artists abroad to give them opportunities to study outside Japan since 1967. This dispatching system currently covers various forms of art, such as visual art, music, dance, drama, movie, and theatrical design, as well as art management.
Domani is held annually to showcase the accomplishments of these dispatched artists. “DOMANI: The Art of Tomorrow 2008” Exhibition" showcases works by artists who have previously been recipients of this program.
