A collection of press clippings and audience's responses about the exhibition 'Encountering the Others', an exhibition of contemporary art from Africa, Asia and Latin America held in Kassel in 1992, parallel to documenta 9. The exhibition was held in various venues in Kassel and another neighboring small city Hann Muenden, including K18 - an old factory building near Kassel University. Over 80 artists from 15 countries were invited to participate in the exhibition. A symposium entitled 'Art, that is not Art', traditional dance performance as well as slide shows were also held.
