This book is published in conjunction with Lee Soyeun's exhibition 'Deer Forest' held at Johyun Gallery, Busan from April to May 2011. The book shows a collection of Lee's self-portrait paintings from 2007 to 2011. To examine her self identity, Lee depicts the characterised self with symbolic faces, firm shapes, and vivid colours. Kim Jyeong-Yeon sees Lee's works as interpreting the artist's personal development with actual scenes, diverse costumes, and props like a fish tank, a flute, a birdcage, and etc..
