The present catalogue features Masato Nakamura's installation of the double arches of McDonald's logo at the Hiroshima City Musum of Contemporary Art. 'In his work, Nakamura expands and multiplies the sign visually and conceptually, while maintaining its basic characteristic. The title of work, "QSC+mV" comes from the McDonald's original corporate philosophy "Quality, Service and Cleanness make Value," but according to the artist, they are changed to Quality, Sincerity and Communications and the coefficient m is multiplied by Value to mean art.' - excerpt from Hitoshi Dehara's essay, The Systematized M.
