Catalogue published in conjunction with the exhibition 'On Yunnan' at the Beijing Center for the Arts (BCA) from 27 March to 9 May 2010. It features around 40 works by 14 Yunnan-based artists who have had a profound impact on Chinese contemporary art since the 1990s despite being marginalised, in both geographical and cultural terms. The occasion marks the first collaboration between BCA and the Contemporary Art Academy of China (CAAC), the only official contemporary art research institute in the country.
