PRD Anti-Heroes is a theater project conceived by Cao Fei for The Second Guangzhou Triennial. In the words of the artist, 'PRD Anti-Heroes is a multi-media performance for the stage which comprised a series of interconnected scenes aimed at weaving together the unofficial history of local people, by using documentary style interview, anecdotes, local legends culled on the internet, widely publicized press reports of goings-on in the Delta's hot spots, and other first-person accounts of life in this sub-tropical urban sprawl.' This catalogue includes introductions by Hou Hanru and Cao Fei, and short articles by Wang Bang and Zhu Ye. With biographies of cast in the production.
