This is the leaflet for a group exhibition showing 132 paintings, drawings and hand-printed posters, created between 1965-75, by Vietnamese artists. The show explores five topics: official propaganda; communications and base camp life; combat and the new active role of women; portraits; agriculture and industry. The programmes of the event are listed here, which include lectures by international experts on Vietnamese culture and history (covering topics such as Vietnamese paintings, architecture and sculpture, ceramics, language and literature, and money); hands-on session (handling session of Vietnamese ceramics from the Neolithic to the present); and gallery talks (on topics such as: “Vietnam Behind the Lines”, “Vietnamese Blue and White Ceramics”, “Collecting Vietnamese Art”, and “Tran Trung Tin the Artist and his Work”. This leaflet also provides an introduction to the exhibition and some images of the exhibits.
